Sandra Patterson Barber

Reidsville: Sandra Patterson Barber, 57, of Reidsville, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Annie Penn Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Edwards and Rev. Milton Kennon, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery. Sandra was born on June 18, 1959, in Burke County, NC to Wilford Patterson and Ruby Justice Patterson. She had a very big heart and would do anything for anyone. She loved to go to the beach and she really loved animals. Sandra was a very loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Sandra was preceeded in death by her father, her husband, Wayne Barber, Sr., her brothers, Ricky Alton Patterson and Charles Wilford Patterson, her sister, Dorothy Patterson Davis and her step-father, Jesse Walker. Survivors include her mother, Ruby McMillion and husband Burl; her sons, Samuel Lee Lovelace and Napoleon S. Ortiz, Jr.; her grandchildren, Damien Lovelace, Ezekiel Ortiz, Natalie Ortiz, Elijah Ortiz and Makalya Lovelace; her brothers, Michael Glenn Patterson and Bobby Ray Walker; her sisters, Shirley Brammer and Pamela Michaux, and her loving dog, Patches.
