Sarah Eva Bailey

Reidsville: Sarah Eva Bailey 92, of Avante of Reidsville, passed away, September 3, 2009. Graveside services will be held 2:00PM Monday, September 7, 2009 at Ruffin Cemetery with Rev. Bland Leebrick officiating. Miss Bailey was born in Rockingham County to the late Dan and Vennie Bailey Bailey. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She loved her flowers, enjoyed sewing and caring for children. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, George Dan “Tilley” Bailey, Charlie Bailey, Tony Bailey; sisters, Betty Bailey, May Bud Bailey, Lizzie Cook, Anna Cook, Eliza Bailey, Blanch Wilson and Margaret Richards.She is survived by her sister, Roxanne “Annie” Richards of Reidsville and numerous nieces and nephews.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Avante and staff for the care given to Miss Bailey during her time there.There will be no formal visitation.
