Sarah Ann Marshall Whitaker

Reidsville – Sarah Ann Marshall Whitaker, 64, of 3763 Vance Street Extension, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at her home. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral home on Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 3-5 PM. The family will also receive friends immediately following at the home of a granddaughter, Hannah Lopez, 148 Westminster Ave., Reidsville, NC. Sarah was born in Guilford County to the late, Fred Woodrow Marshall and Rachel Stanley Edwards. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Samuel Whitaker, Sr. She is survived by a daughter, Renee’ Bennett; sons, Sammy Whitaker, Charlie Whitaker, Bobby Whitaker; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Jessup, Thelma Cassell; brother, Larry Marshall; numerous nieces and nephews, special family friends, Lisa McMillon, Larry and Carolyn Rierson.
