Selma Earlene Gibson Terry

Selma Earlene Gibson Terry, 88, of Ruffin, went home in peace and comfort to Heaven on April 23, 2023.

A graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 27, 2023 with Pastor Phil Surrett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum and other times at the home.

Selma was born in Virginia to the late James Harvey Gibson and Sarah Margaret Johnson. In addition to her parents, Selma was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Terry daughter, Teresa Faye Brande and sister Betty Gray. Selma loved the Lord. She loved to cook and would crochet blankets for her family and friends. When possible, she loved spending time outdoors working in her garden. One of her favorite things was to tell jokes and stories to her sister Sue.

She is survived by her daughters Margaret Boaz, Penny Echols (Timmy) and Arlene Haymore; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
