Shannon "Baby" Marie Shown

Shannon "Baby" Marie Shown, 45, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday September 17, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September, 20 2024 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Pastor Junior Kennon officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.

Shannon was born in Rockingham County to the late Kennon McMillon and Debbie Hicks. She was a sweet person who loved the Lord. She demonstrated those qualities in her life by sacrificing and doing without for the happiness of others. She had a passion for animals, fishing, painting, and “junkin’ and “scrapin’”.

In addition to her biological father, Shannon was preceded in death by her dad Wayne Hicks; grandparents, Ralph and Vernell Willard, uncle Ralph Willard, Jr.; sister-in-law Rhonda Blackwell. 

Shannon is survived by her husband, Larry Shown; mother, Debbie Hicks; siblings, Penny Dickens (Jason), Kennon McMillon Jr. (Amanda) and John McMillon (Callie); step-children, Jessica Shown (Todd), Margie Shown (Tyrone); step-grandchildren, Bubba Smith, Jacklyn Taylor, Aza Mills, Ava Mills; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Hunter, Savannah, Deven, and Marcus McMillon; great-niece, Autumn McMillon; her dog “little bit” and cat Midnight.
