Sharon Myrick Loftis

Sharon Myrick Loftis, 63, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, at home surrounded by her family.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memory Garden on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 11AM with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating.

Sharon was born in Rockingham County to Leon and Doris Myrick, she dedicated several years of service to the Farm Bureau in Madison. Sharon loved crafting, tanning, shopping and made lots of special memories camping with the grandchildren and family. She always spread her love and faith to those she met. Most of all, she loved her family and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, Mark Loftis and her daughter, Lindsey Erin Hudson; grandparents, Dennis and Juanita Myrick as well as Lonnie and Janie Cox; faithful dog, Ruby Jean Loftis.

Sharon is survived by her son, Jordan Hudson(Stephanie); stepson, Kyle Loftis; parents, Leon, and Doris Myrick; granddaughters, Kandyce Hudson, Kaelynn Loftis; brother, Joey Myrick (Susan), faithful canine companion, Bailey Grace Loftis as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Stephanie Lemons, Tanya Saporito, and JoAnne Sutton as well as the hospice staff, Covington Wesleyan Church, and Vance Street Baptist Church for their loving care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Vance Street Baptist Church in C/O Sabrina Powell 642 King Street , Reidsville, NC 27320.
