Sharyn Wetherill Heller

Summerfield: Sharyn Wetherill Heller, 68, of 251 Paschall Road, died on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 20th at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Sharyn was born in Paris Island, SC to Margaret Pearman Wetherill and the late Marion Wetherill. She was a graduate of UNC-G with a Master’s Degree in Education and taught school for 27 years with the Guilford County School System, teaching at Joyner Elementary, Hunter Elementary, General Greene Elementary, Peck Elementary, Wiley Elementary and Aycock Middle School. She was a long time member and Sunday School teacher at Sharon Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Reid Wetherill. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Heller, Sr. of the home; children, Anne Heller of Austin, TX, Janis Brannon, husband, Patrick, and daughter, Morgyn, of Franklin, NC, Robert Heller, Jr., wife, Hollie, and children, R.J. and Haylie, of Pikeville, NC and David Heller, wife, Stacey, and children, Lauren and John Michael, of Reidsville; mother, Margaret P. Wetherill of Summerfield; brothers, Doug Wetherill and wife, Bev of Dallas, TX and Arnold Wetherill and wife, Pam Achter of Strongsville, OH. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
