Shirley Ann Hill

Shirley Ann Hill, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Rockingham County Hospice Home. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Mr. Shannon Newsome officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Shirley was born in Pittsylvania County and lived most of her life in Rockingham County. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Ward Hill. She retired from Reidsville Financial Services with over 35 years of service. She was an avid golfer and loved the beach. Shirley was always considerate of others and especially adored her family. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Hill Lovelace. She is survived by her brothers, David Hill and wife, Linda, Ray Hill and wife, Brenda and Jimmy Hill; her special niece (like a daughter), Teresa Bass and husband, Cliff and a large extended family.
