Shirley Knight Collins

REIDSVILLE- Mrs. Shirley Knight Collins, 68, of Reidsville passed away on Thursday, October 27th, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at two o’clock on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Shirley was born in Rockingham County on May 17th, 1948 to the late Percy and Marie Rumley Knight. She was the owner of J and S Convenience Store on Highway 87. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Hutchens. Survivors include her husband, Jeff Collins of the home; two sons, Mark Hutchens and wife, Bette of Eden; Jeremy Collins of Axton, VA; grandchildren, Brandon, Delaney, Hatcher, Marson, Dalyn, Noah and Bailey; one great-grandson, Deegan; two brothers, Paul Knight and wife, Pat; Percy Knight and wife, Patty, all of Reidsville; one brother- in-law, John Scott of Kernersville; niece, Patricia Hodges and a special friend, Barbara Oakes.
