Shirley Shore Evans

Reidsville – Shirley Shore Evans, 72, of 706 McCoy Road, died on Monday, January 24, 2011 at her home.Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Happy Home Congregational Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McBride officiating.Mrs. Evans was born in Fredericksburg, VA and was the daughter of the late Limual and Hester Morris Shore. She was of the Christian faith and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her passion was making her house a home. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Evans and her son, Randy Evans.Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, Jack Evans of the home; her grandchildren, Katie, Dillon, Noelle and Olivia Reddick all of Pleasant Garden; her sister, Marion Wheeler and husband, Jimmy and her brother, Freddie Shore and wife, Linda all of Greensboro.There will be no formal visitation, but the family will receive friends at the home.In Lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Hospice of Rockingham County, PO 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
