Shirley Ann Johnson Strader

Reidsville: Shirley Ann Johnson Strader ,60, of 1202 Gunn Street, Apt 19B, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 16, 2010 at NC Baptist Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 20th at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Bill McKinney officiating. Shirley was born in Rockingham County to the late Johnnie William Johnson and Dorothy Mae Dickens Johnson. Shirley loved nature, gardening and flowers and attended Fellowship Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Eugene Strader and daughter, Cynthia Strader. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa A. Strader; sister, Carolyn J. Wilson and husband, Lonnie "Ronnie"; special nephew, Brian Lee Wilson; brother, Roger Johnson and wife, Norma, all of Reidsville; niece, Dana Dark of Randleman; nephew, Ashley Johnson of Reidsville; aunts, Daisy Johnson and Frances Goodman; uncle, Ernest Dickens and wife, Thelma. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, April 19th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
