Shirley Soyars

Mrs. Shirley Taylor Soyars, 83, of Reidsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, 2015. She was born on May 31st, 1931 in Granville County, NC to the late Roy A. Taylor, Sr.and Sarah Hobgood Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Melvin Soyars and four brothers and two sisters. Survivors are her daughter, Ann Soyars of Greensboro; three brothers, Ed and wife, Lois Taylor; Donald and wife, Glenda Taylor; Charlie and wife, Carol Ann Taylor; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at two o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Dr. Beau Cooksey will officiate. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
