Shirley Kendrick Stanfield

Reidsville – Mrs. Shirley Kendrick Stanfield, 65, of Reidsville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Shirley was born on February 7, 1948 in Reidsville to the late Lennis Dillard Kendrick and Clara Mae Williams Kendrick. She was employed by McDonalds in Greensboro on Battleground Avenue and was a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Taylor. She is survived by two sons, P-Nut Stanfield and Hampton Brewer both of Greensboro; eight grandchildren; one sister: Virginia Lee Spears and husband, Lee of Statesville; five brothers: John Kendrick of Greensboro; Jerry Kendrick and wife, Carolyn of Burlington; Danny Kendrick of Asheboro; Lennis Kendrick, Jr. and wife, Jessie of Stokesdale; David Kendrick and wife, Jennifer of Climax; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 18th, 2013 in Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rev. Eugene Coltrane will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
