Stanley Gordon (Stan) Kozdrowski passed away with his wife by his side at his home in Reidsville, North Carolina on February 16, age 81.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Betty Farmer of the home; children Pamela and Trevor of Canada; grandchildren Makenna and Graeme of Canada; siblings Mary Yvonne Slemko of Canada, Linda Wilkins of Australia, and Greg Kozdrowski of Canada. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Pauline Kozdrowski and sister Andrea Kozdrowski.
Stanley was born in Smokey Lake, Alberta, grew up in Warspite, Alberta and graduated from Warspite High School in 1960. He went on to study electronic engineering technology at Radio College of Canada in Toronto, then embarked on a career in electronics that took him across Canada and beyond. Stanley had many businesses over the years and was a true entrepreneur. His last commercial venture was bottling and selling BC spring water. Beginning in his teenage years in Warspite with the White Lightning Car Club and continuing through his life was a love of cars, especially in restoring and showing them at car shows. He was the Western Assistance Chief Judge of the Lincoln Continental Car Club from 1998 through 2013.
A private memorial service will be held with family and friends on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
