Stephen Craig Hays, 50, of Carnegie, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 24th at Hospice of Rockingham County in Reidsville, NC. Stephen was born on January 15, 1971, the son of Herb and Ellen Hays. He was the youngest of four children. Stephen was a ball of energy as a little boy with a funny sense of humor and a passion for all things with wheels, especially tractors. He overcame many obstacles in life and defied many predictions of limitations, due to much prayer and a faithful Mom and Dad. He graduated high school from Lenape Technical school in Ford City, PA and went on to further education at Hiram G. Andrews Center in Johnstown,PA. He later moved to Carnegie, PA where he worked for Walmart and Allied Security. Stephen was hard working, dedicated and consistent. He especially enjoyed the many years he worked at Allied Security. Stephen loved going to Kennywood, walking around downtown Pittsburgh, playing cards with friends and eating at Kings restaurant. Most of all, Stephen loved spending time with his family and was content to just take a ride, do some shopping or enjoy a meal together.
He is survived by his father, Herb Hays and step-mother Priscilla, sister Jane Corral and brother-in-law Jeronimo and nephews, Emanuel, Rodrigo and Jesse, sister Marci Lockhart and nieces and nephews, Autumn, Travis, Susan, Ralph and Kellin, sister Lori Brozowski and brother-in-law Matt and nieces and nephews, Emily, Renee, Timothy, Andrew, Carolyn and Grant and great nephew Dawson. Romans 8:35,37-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
