Stephen Shane Meeks

Greensboro: Stephen Meeks, 41, of 5437 North Church Street, passed away at his home, Saturday, July 13, 2013. Stephen was a man of many talents – one of those rare people who could “fix anything”. He enjoyed building things around his home and restoring cars, four wheelers and helping his father keep his riding lawnmowers running good. Also, he loved animals, especially his cat “Katrina” and his former Doberman pincher, “Fatboy”. Stephen worked as a maintenance technician for Jones Lang LaSalle looking after some thirty-five PNC branch banks throughout the piedmont North Carolina area. Stephen is survived by his parents, Olin and Hilda Meeks of the home; his sister, Melanie Lynn Meeks; brother, Eddie Alexander Meeks and a large extended family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home, 1909 Richardson Drive, Reidsville, NC. The visitation will be at 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 3:00 PM. The burial will follow at the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mayfield, NC.
