Steve Willis

Arthur Steven Willis, 85, of 144 Warf Way, went home to be with The Lord, Monday, March 6, 2023 at his home.

Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2023, at Baptist Temple Church with Dr. Clay Warf and Pastor Ryan Burris officiating. The burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Steve was born in Sampson County to the late Aaron and Juanita Cooper Willis. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway with over 30 years of service. He was a longtime and faithful member of Baptist Temple Church. Along with his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Warf Willis.

Steve is survived by his sons Mark Willis and wife Michele and Matthew Willis; grandson Samuel Willis; brother-in-law Dr. Clay Warf and wife Sherry; and extended family.
