Eden - Stevie Carroll Thomas, 52, of 1312 Robin Road, died on Friday, April 10, 2009, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM on Monday, April 13, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Walter H. Yancey officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mr. Thomas was a native of Rocky Mount, VA and was the son of the late Robert Lee Thomas and Peggy Steele Campbell. He was a self employed carpet installer. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Donna Baker Thomas of the home; sons, Steve Paschal of Danville, Austin Thomas and Adam Thomas both of the home; daughter, Jennifer Hicks of Danville; step-dad Cecil Campbell, Sr. of Leasburg, NC; granddaughter, Kirsten Gosney of the home; step-brother, Cecil Campbell, Jr. of Roxboro, NC; sisters, Cindy Ferguson of Gretna, VA, Sandra Arnold of Danville, VA, Teresa Thomas of Ruffin, NC and Wanda Lovelace of Eden, NC. Special buddies, Kenneth Hamlett, Tony Newcomb, Charlie Wyatt and Eugene Wyatt. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, April 11, 2009, from 7 to 9 PM and other times at the residence.
