On Sunday, October 17, 2021, with her children by her side, Suella “Sue” Sharpe Putnam was reunited with her father Herman, Mother Elsie and her sister Patricia “Patsy”.
Survived by her daughter Amber “Nicole”, son Kristofer, grand-daughter Haley & grandson Jakob and not to be left out, grand-pup Thora.
“Mama Sue” to many of her children’s friend. Her home was a common gathering place for many over the years.
She was a backseat biker and loved so many things about being part of the community. From the breath-taking views on a ride with no destination to the people she met who shared the same passion. As well as being able to spend some of those moments with her daughter riding next to her.
Sue enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching Food Network and spending time with her children & grandchildren. Her love language was definitely food. If you knew her – odds are she’s fed you at some point – and without question, you loved whatever it was!
In her life she was many things. A daughter, a sister, an aunt, a wife, a friend. The only title more precious than “Mama” was when she became “Mamba” No matter what her title was to you, you didn’t have to question her love for you. She is already missed by many.
A memorial service will be held October 30th at 11 am at Wilkerson Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Americanriverstrokers.com in support of veterans.
