Susan Revis Laster

Susan Revis Laster, 66, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 28, 2023 at Redemption Road Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Bray officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00. At other times the family will be at the home of her daughter.

Susan was born in Philadelphia Pa. to the late Clyde and Barbara Matlock Revis. She was a graduate of Rockingham Community College earning her degree as a CNA and was a former home health aid at Annie Penn Hospital. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord being a member of Redemption Road Baptist Church , volunteering with the kids, and attending church singings. She loved attending her church and those in it especially, her Pastor Daniel Bray.  Susan delighted in being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Matthew Gantt.

 Those left to cherish the memory of Susan are her husband Gary Laster, daughter Angel Gantt Thomas (B.J.); grandsons Chris Thomas (Thad), Josh Thomas; brothers Cullen Lamb (Diane) and C.P. Revis; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special great niece and nephew Jordan and Kayla Isley ; her dear little friend Little Sissy and her fur baby Coco.
