Susan Shelton Stephens

Susan Shelton Stephens, 59, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. Susan was born in Rockingham County. She worked in food services throughout her career, completed her culinary arts degree from GTCC and finally retired from Pennrose Park Country Club as the events director in 2015. Susan was gracious and considerate of others and always willing to go the extra mile for her family, friends and clients. She will be greatly missed. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Tink” Stephens and her step mother, Freda Shelton. She is survived by her father, Bobby Shelton of Reidsville; her daughters, Haily and Angela Stephens both of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Emma Walker and Jackson Brown of Ruffin and Ethan Poindexter of Reidsville; and a numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses (see “resources” on the Wilkerson website for more information.)
