Sylvia Lovelace

Syliva Lovelace, 69, Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A memorial gathering will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2PM.

Sylvia was born on May 18, 1952 in Rockingham County to the late Daisy Mildred Dickens Johnson. She retired after many years of service from VF Jeanswear. She loved her fur babies, Delilah, Buddy, Baby girl, Star and Shorty. She really loved all animals but most of all she loved her family.

Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lovelace and son, Jeffrey Thomas Matherly Jr.

Sylvia is survived by her sons, Daryl Matherly (Ashley), Kevin Matherly (Kimberly); grandchildren, Jonathan Matherly, Brett and Blake Myers and Lillian Ward along with a large and loving group of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham Animal Shelter at 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320
