Tammy Jo Little Greene

Tammy Jo Little Greene, 54, of Reidsville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Cone Memorial Hospital. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Tammy was born in Rockingham County on March 4, 1965. She was a very loving wife and proud Mama and Nana. She was loved by all of her nieces and nephews who referred to her as “Nana Tammy.” She loved the beach and all kinds of animals, especially her horse and her dogs. Tammy was a friend to all and had a very caring and loving heart and personality to everyone she met. She was very avid in her faith in God, her heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Reuben Dillard Allen and Ruth Holcomb Allen, Carroll Garland Little and Anna Pearl Little; beloved uncles, Johnny Little, Paul Allen and James Allen; father-in-law, J.B. Greene and mother-in-law, Lillian Greene. She is survived by her husband, Lanny Greene of the home; daughter, Leslie Smith and wife, Michelle of Ruffin; grandchildren: Lucas Gage Smith and Angel Nicole Marshall; parents: Joe William Little Sr. and Lillian Allen Little; one stepson, Jay Greene and one stepdaughter, Kimberly Greene; siblings: Joe “Little Joe” William Little Jr., Tina Gail Little Williams and husband David, Lisa Marie Little Proctor and husband Ricky, and brother, Tony Scott Little, all of Reidsville; special friend, Marie Lacasky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, February 18, 2020 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM. Other times the family will be at her parent’s home.
