Tanya Roberson Martin

Brown Summitt, NC – Tanya Roberson Martin, of 7341 Friendship Church Road, died Monday, March 10, 2008 at Wesley Long Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Leaksville Christian Church with Bob Templeton and Joe Craft officiating. The pallbearers will be Gary Roberson, III, Joe Craft, III, Jim Craft, David Saunders, Mark Saunders, Troy Farthing, Scott Martin and Ricky Calhoun. The interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. Tanya was born in Eden. She was formerly employed with Morehead Hospital and Martin Trucking Company. She was a faithful member of South Danville Church of Christ where she was actively involved with Vacation Bible School. She also served as a Sunday school teacher. Tanya loved children and also served as the Band Booster president for NE Guilford High School. Tanya is survived by her husband, Roger Martin of the home; daughter, Amanda Martin of the home; her mother and father, Margurette and Gary Roberson; her brothers, Gary Roberson, Jr. and wife, Karen and Glen Roberson all of Eden; mother and father-in-law, Sue and Billy Martin of McLeansville, NC and a large extended family.
