Teresa Cox Martin

Reidsville–Teresa Ann Martin, 45, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church with Dr. K. Scott Heffner officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Teresa was born in Rockingham County, March 10, 1970. She was homemaker and a longtime, faithful member of Victory Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Teresa was a woman of faith and her compassion, love and consideration of her family and others was evident. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Dyson Cox and her father-in-law, Jackie Martin. Teresa is survived by her husband, Todd Martin of the home; her children, Kara Martin, Daniel Martin and Andrea Cole all of Reidsville; granddaughter, Evelette “Evey” Lea of Reidsville; father, Arthur C. “Art” Cox of Reidsville; sister, Paula Pulliam of Eden; brothers, Dennis Cox of Reidsville and Darrell Cox and wife, Jennifer of Coldwater, MI; mother-in-law, Peggy Martin of Providence, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM. Other times the family will be at Peggy’s home (811 Walters Mill Road, Providence, NC 27315).
