Theresa Jean Hyler

Eden: Theresa “Sissy” Jean Hyler, 56, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M., Friday, October 14, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Harris officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 3-5 P.M., at the funeral home. Theresa was born on November 20, 1959, in Reidsville to Harold Newman Hyler and Mamie Carter Hyler. She was a trailblazer with her own eye for style. She was a sweet soul who never met a stranger. She lived to be different than everyone else because she didn’t see the fun in being average. She touched so many lives with her unconditional love…We love and miss you!!!! “Why try so hard to fit in when you were born to stand out.” She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Hyler. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Danielle Kingsbury Palma and husband Max; her grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle and Alessa; her mother, Mamie Hyler; her brother, Donnie Lee Hyler and wife Donna; her sisters, Sherri Hyler Oakley and husband Brian and Tonya Hyler Lee and husband Brad, and several nieces and nephews.
