Thomas Ray Denny

REIDSVILLE – Thomas Ray Denny, 74, of 180 Denny Road, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Tillman officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Thomas was born in Rockingham County to the late Robert and Fleetwood Roach Denny and was a farmer and also employed with Burlington Industries. He was a member of Ruffin Stacy Baptist Church and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Louise Denny; sister, Shelby Jean Trent; brothers, Robert Jack Denny, Benjamin, Franklin Denny, Raymond Lee Denny and Roger Denny. Survivors include his wife, Helen Patterson Denny; children, Tommy Ray Denny and wife, Tonya, Kathy Pryor and husband, Charles, David Wayne Denny and wife, Jan and Timothy Dale Denny; seven loving grandchildren, Randi Anne Adkins, Travis Denny, Zachary Pryor, Caleb Pryor, Luke Pryor, Caroline Denny and Landon Denny; brothers, Jerry Wayne Denny and wife, Karen, Philip Denny and wife, Jennelle, half brothers, Freddy Denny, Teddy Denny and Bobby Denny; half sister, Ann Hughes. The family will see friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
