Thomas Walter Pearman

Reidsville: Thomas Walter Pearman, Jr., 93, of Brithaven of Madison, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Wesley Long Community Hospital. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Sharon Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Mr. Pearman was born in Rockingham County to the late Thomas Walter Pearman, Sr. and Annie Baynes Pearman. He was a retired farmer and a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Moore Pearman; brother, Harvey Pearman and sisters, Dura Wright, Georgia Pearman and Janie Scearce. Survivors include his sons, Harold Pearman and wife, Sandra of Wake Forest, NC, Robert C. Pearman and wife, Teresa of Boone; daughter, Shirley P. Hunter and husband, Richard of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren, Stephen Hunter, Susan Hunter, Teresa Rose, Tom Pearman, Christy Kubis and Heidi Cox; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kacey, Hayden, Riley, Chase, Connor, Lilly and Rowen. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 25 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Other times the family will be at 6525 NC Highway 65, Reidsville.
