Tony Bob Bailey

Reidsville – Tony Bob Bailey, 88, formerly of 624 East Street, Brooks Place Apts, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Penn Nursing Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 5, at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Tillman officiating. The family will meet with friends after the service at the church. Mr. Bailey was born in Rockingham County to the late Dan and Vennie Bailey Bailey. He was a retiree of Trent Construction Company and was also preceded in death by his wife, Viola Poindexter. Survivors include his sons, Elmer and Wayne Bailey; stepson, Henry Evans; stepdaughters, Brenda Tucker and Janice Murray; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Annie and Eva; sisters-in-law, Christine Ellington, Lorene Covington.
