Tony Duane Kendrick

Pelham- Tony Duane Kendrick, 53, of 651 Chandler Mill Road, died, Sunday, August 7, 2011 at his home.Funeral services will be held 3:00PM Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Lively Stones Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Kent, Sr and Rev. Kenneth Hammock officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.Tony was born in Rockingham County to Martha Brande Atkins and the late David Akers Kendrick. He was an employee of Essel Propack and a member of Lively Stones Baptist Church. He was a former coach of the Lively Stones youth ball team and an expert fisherman. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Lee Kendrick.Survivors include his sons, Tony Jacob "TJ" Kendrick and Luke Duane Kendrick; mother, Martha Kendrick Atkins; brothers, David Kendrick, Daniel Kendrick and Timmy Kendrick.The family will see friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday evening at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 212 Pelham Loop Road, Pelham, NC.Memorials may be made to Lively Stones Baptist Church Youth Group, 2347 Chandler Mill Road, Pelham North Carolina 27311.
