Vernell Bibee Craven

Reidsville - Vernell Bibee Craven, 75, 653 Almond Road, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011, at Rockingham County Hospice Home.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 17, 2011 at Maple Lawn Baptist Church with Rev. Crawford Bradshaw and Rev. Wayne Smithey officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.Vernell was born in Rockingham County to the late James Noel and Olivia Cheek Bibee and was a retiree of Fieldcrest. She was a faithful member of Maple Lawn Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 40 years. As a loving mother and grandmother she was a friend to all. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by several siblings, Survivors include her husband, James A. Craven; son, William Carl Craven and wife, Betty Diane; daughters, Judy Fagge and husband, Paul and Lori Jobe; grandchildren, Allyson Fagge, Olivia Fagge and Michelle Richards and husband, John and their children, Meagan, Dylan and Logan; brothers, Harvey, Doug, and Jerry Bibee; sisters Essie Mae Fulp and Janice Cipriani.The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Sunday, October 16th at Maple Lawn Baptist Church and other times at the home of her son, 625 Almond Road, Reidsville.
