Vincent G. Wall

Reidsville– Rev. Vincent G. Wall, Sr., 91, passed away on Sunday, December15th, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. Rev. Wall was born on March 29th, 1922 in New York, New York to the late William Henry and Loretta Masterson Wall. He was a retired Baptist minister, having served as pastor of churches in Rockingham County, Kernersville, Greensboro and Wilmington. He was currently a member of Sharon Baptist Church where he was Honorary Pastor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Pickrell Wall. Survivors include two sons: Jerry Wall and wife Cynthia of Reidsville; David Wall and wife Susan of Erwin; grandchildren: Kathy Tibbles and husband, Paul; Keith Wall and wife, Monica; Andrew Wall and wife, Heather; Leia Parker and husband, Jon; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law: Inez Wall of Reidsville and a special friend, Ruth Cummings of Reidsville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 at 2 PM at Sharon Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from six until eight o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home and on Wednesday from noon until two o’clock in Sharon Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
