Virginia Starnes Billingsley

Reidsville: Virginia Starnes Billingsley, 86, of 1005 Uhles Street, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at her home.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Puryear and Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Billingsley was born in Chesterfield County, SC to the late James Charlie and Virginia Mills Starnes. She was a homemaker and a member of Penn Memorial Baptist Church where she enjoyed working with the youth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Billingsley, Sr.; son, Ricky Lee Billingsley; sisters, Thelma S. Smith, Ruby S. Frick, Sarah S. Hopkins and Mary S. Frick; brothers, Pete Starnes, Bud Starnes and James Starnes.She is survived by her children, Shirley B. Justice, Lenis Billingsley and wife, Rosena, Keith Billingsley and wife, Debra, Sandra B. Stone and husband, Larry, Robert Billingsley, Jr. and wife, Sandra, Debbie B. Vaughn and husband, Carlton, Glenda B. Isley and husband, Bobby, Michael Billingsley, Dawn B. Smith, Tim Billingsley and wife, Linda; sister, Edna S. Paschal; sister-in-law, Mollie Reichert; numerous grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids but her pride and joy was great grandson, Jaxen.
