Virginia Moore Gammon

Virginia Moore Gammon, 91, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October, 4, 2017 at Pine Forrest Home For The Aged. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gammon was born in Rockingham County to the late Thomas Meador and Emma Dallas Moore. She was a retiree of Kmart and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Gammon and sister, Sallie Bell Moore. Beloved Mother to her children, Carole McCollum and husband, David; Mary Kay Strader and husband, Reid and Weldon Gammon and wife, Cindy. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Reid and Mary Kay, 4072 NC Hwy 14.
