Virginia Rice Geller

Ruffin– Virginia Rice Geller, 81, of 110 Davis Road, passed away on June 21, 2015 at Avante at Reidsville. Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church with Rev. George McDowell, III officiating. Virginia was born in Caswell County to the late Loyd and Louella Beggarly Rice. She was a retiree of Kroger Grocery in Danville, Va. for over 30 years and served as a volunteer of Caswell County Civic Center. She was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian church where she served as Elder, Superintendent of Sunday School, choir member and youth director. Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Geller; sisters, Mary Griggs and Ellen Shaw; brother-in-law, Frank Shaw; nieces, Phyllis Griggs, Susan Cox, Gale Mills, Erin Rice, Janine Allen and Corrina Rice; nephews, Patrick Shaw, David Griggs, Steve Griggs, Arch Griggs, Keith Rice, Eric Rice and Robert Rice.
