Virginia Fitzgerald Pruitt

Reidsville: Virginia “Ann” Fitzgerald Pruitt, 69, of 269 Elliott Road, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Pruitt officiating. The interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Pruitt was born in Rockingham County to the late John Wesley and Helen Fitzgerald Knowles. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Burlington. Ann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John W. Fitzgerald, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Junior Pruitt of the home; her sons, Terry E. Pruitt and Reggie K. Pruitt and wife, Wanda all of Reidsville; grandchildren, Amanda Pruitt, Emily Pruitt, T.J. Pruitt and wife, Samantha, Daniel Pruitt, Keith Pruitt, Will Pruitt and Ashland Pruitt; great grandchildren, Phoenix Pruitt, Gabrielle Wiggins and Trey Pruitt and extended family.
