Virginia Strader Williams

Virginia Strader Williams, 87, of 1208 Benton Lane, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Dr. Morris Brown officiating. Virginia was born in Rockingham County to the late Earl and Minnie Allen Strader. She was a retiree of Love Sales and a member of First United Methodist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlee Williams; brother, James Elwood Strader; sister, Edna Strader Perdew. Survivors include her son, Lynn Williams and wife, Tricia Averett Williams; daughter, Patricia Williams; grandsons, Matt Williams and wife, Holly and Mike Williams; sisters, Inez Handy and Shirley Hodapp; brother, Ray Strader and wife, Julia and sister-in-law, Thresa Strader and numerous loving nieces and nephews. There will be no formal visitation.
