Vivian Chilton Denny

Vivian Chilton Denny, 91 went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2020. A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens, Reidsville, NC on Friday April 10, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Vivian was born in Rockingham County to the late Joseph Pinkney and Mary Carter Chilton. She worked as a Machine Operator at American Tobacco for 39 years. She was a devoted Christian who loved spending time with family and friends. She always had a smile on her face. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by husband, Frank Denny, Brothers: Garland Chilton, Calvin Chilton, Jesse Chilton, David Wayne Chilton Sr. and Raymond Chilton; Sisters: Lucille Wheeler, Doris Billingsley, Elaine Reynolds, Alvinia Chilton; and 9 step brothers and sisters. Vivian is survived by sisters Cleo Lawson, Mary Smith, Colleen Shropshire and Josephine Hopkins as well as multiple nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lawsonville Road Baptist Church, Reidsville NC.
