Vivian Faucette Spencer

Vivian Faucette Spencer, 99, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 29^th, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, May 4^th, 2023, at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro with Pastor Greg Bouck officiating.

Vivian was born on February 6, 1924, to the late Annie and Obie Faucette. Vivian loved her home in Monticello where she lived for most of her life. Even staying there until the day before she passed away. She was a homemaker who loved her family and worked hard on the family tobacco farm. Vivian also enjoyed gardening, flowers, and traveling on Holiday Tours. She was a member of Monticello United Church of Christ and was a devout Christian. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, TR Spencer; daughter, Martha Mahaffey; brothers, John C. Faucette and Marcus Faucette.

Vivian is survived by her children, Ted Spencer (Myrtis), Judy Sutton (Ken), and Larry Spencer (Resa); five grandchildren, Michelle Arnold, Kimberly Spencer, Meredith Harper, Melissa Sutton, Matthew Spencer; two great grandchildren, Christian Arnold and Zachary Arnold; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
