Wanda Smith Moricle

Reidsville: Wanda Smith Moricle, 53, of 307 Thompsonville Street passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Wanda was born in Rockingham County on March 26, 1959 to Martha Miller Bowman and the late William Ernest Smith, Sr. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling to the beach, watching her favorite reality shows, and her Saturday night out with John and Peggy. Wanda was huge supporter of her family and the Matriarch that kept the peace in the family. She loved living life to the fullest but most of all she loved her family and her grandchildren. She was a person that always was willing to lend a hand to someone that needed help. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Wesley "Wendy" Moricle of the home; her children; Randy Moricle and wife, Christie of Eden and Pamela M Hopkins and husband, Brian of Reidsville; grandchildren, Maegan Hall, Jeremy Moricle, Ethan Hopkins, Madi Moricle, Kenan Hopkins and McKenna Moricle; mother, Martha M. Bowman and step-father, Marvin Bowman of Reidsville; sister, Peggy Doman and husband, John of Reidsville; brothers, Ernie Smith and wife, Karen and Keith Smith all of Reidsville; step-sisters, Lisa Moore and husband Mark of Reidsville, Cindy Bender and husband, Jeff of Summer Set, PA, step-brother, Steve Bowman and wife, Lisa of Reidsville and a large extended family. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.Memorial contributions may be made in Wanda's honor to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O.
