Welton Jr Everette

Reidsville: Welton Jr. Everette, 59 of Reidsville, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. Mr. Everette was born in Rockingham County to the late William Ross and Lucille Chambers Everette. Welton enjoyed helping others but most of all he adored spending time with his loving family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Everette and Dwayne Chambers and sister, Barbara Everette Smith. Welton is survived by son, Mark Everette and wife, Vickie of Caswell; daughter, Twana Little of Reidsville; grandchildren, Sylvia and Matthew Little and Michael Paschal; great grandchild, Kayla Gibbs; fiancé, Joan Cardwell; brothers, Ronnie Everette, Mack Everette and wife, Claudia, Tommy Everette and wife, Cathy and Roger Dale Chambers and wife, Kay; sister, Faye Terry; special nieces, Rhonda Carter and Sherry Bailey; and special friends, Mary Miller and Dorothy Simpson. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 7:00 – 9:00pm and other times at the residence of Mark, 2678 Ashland Road, Ruffin. Wilkerson Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
