Wendy Smalley Wiseman

Wendy Smalley Wiseman, 45, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 9, 2020. A private, invite only, Memorial service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Wendy was born on April 30, 1974 to the late David Glenn and JoAnne Smalley in Royal Oak, Michigan. She was a Paramedic with Caswell County, Volunteer Fireman for many stations in both Rockingham and Caswell County. She also taught Continuing Education and EMT classes at Piedmont Community College, worked as a Medical Examiner, Guardian Ad Litem, and was a breast cancer warrior, all while pursuing her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Colorado Technical University. She was a free spirit and tirelessly advocated for the underdogs. She spent her life caring for others. She took in countless strays, both human and animal giving them unconditional love regardless of creed or color. She will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved boxer, Belle. Wendy is survived by her daughter, Glenna Marie Wiseman (Samuel); sisters, Jody Smalley and Elizabeth Smalley Harris (Wayne); nephews, Steffon Lee; nieces, Skye and Steffanie Harris along with her other family members, James, Kathy and Jay Zimmerman, Josh Barahona, JaQuan Miller, Ben, Beth Anne and Josh Wiseman, Carla, Drew, Garet and Greyson Fulk, Jason and Brandy Smith, Annie and Jessica Lea as well as many other loving extended family and friends.
