Ruffin – William David Barker-Paschal, 38, of 11026 Park Springs Road, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Duke University Hospital in Durham. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Dennis Hylton, Tim Moricle, O’Darian Brown, Shawn Watlington, Jimmy Sealey, Terry Barker II, Fredrick Ferguson and Mark Gray. David was born in Rockingham County and attended Reidsville High School. He was an employee of Quality Associates as lead inspector. He was preceded in death aby his sister, Mary Dawn Paschal. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Donna Paschal; grandparents Jack and Louise Simpson of Reidsville; uncles, Mark Simpson and wife, Andrea of Ruffin and Charles Wayne Simpson and wife Pat of Reidsville; sisters, Sonya Darlene Paschal, Donna Paschal McGehee and husband, Gary all of Reidsville; special little brother, Calab Paschal; three nieces and one nephew; special friends, Mike McKenzie and Sissy Trollinger. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at his home.
