Ruffin, NC - William Henson Brown, 19, of 9464 US 29 Business, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011.Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Ruffin Stacy Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Tillman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex French, Greg Lasley, Zach Reynolds, Ben Sparks, Ian Wyatt, Rod Snipes, Jimmy Lee Strader and Brad Hall. The family request no suits and ties for the service, preferably blue jeans.William was born in Gwinette County, Georgia to Barbara Troxler Brown and the late David Patrick Brown. He was an employee of Nortex Cattle, a Boy Scout and a member of Ruffin Stacy Baptist Church. Along with his father, David Pat Brown, William was preceded in death by his granddaddy, William D'arcy Troxler.Those who cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Troxler Brown; his sis, Jennifer Brown Gantt and husband, Jonathan D. Gantt, Jr.; his brother, Benjamin Don Brown; grandma, Elsa Garrity Troxler; aunts, Kay Brown and Jean Leary; uncles, Larry Brown and wife, Linda and John Stupak and many other loving family members and friends.The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Ruffin Stacy Baptist Church from 6-8 PM and other times at the residence.Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320.Will, we love you and you will be missed.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
