William Eugene Freeman

Reidsville- William E. Freeman, 78, of 201 Pine Hill Court, died on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at his residence.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.A native of Reidsville he was the son of the late John M. Freeman and Louise L. Freeman.Mr. Freeman was a Korean War veteran and worked for Sears Roebuck for 36 years in Greensboro and Atlanta. He served as treasurer of the Reidsville Christian Church and the North Druid Hills Christian Church for many years. Surviving are his loving wife, Sylvia Liebscher Freeman; daughter, Cynthia F. Teague and husband, Reid of Reidsville; son, Ronald B. Freeman and wife, Emilie of Asheville; grandchildren, Julia Teague Petry and husband, Dustin of Atlanta, GA, Virginia Teague of Reidsville, Kurt and Emilie Susannah Freeman of Asheville; brothers, Jack Freeman and wife, Mary Ann of Reidsville, Ronald Freeman of Maggie Valley, NC, Cecil Freeman and wife, Debbie of Dalton, GA ; sister, Martha Freeman of Macon, GA. Mr. Freeman was also very close to his brother-in-law, Walter Liebscher and wife, Margaret and his former sister-in-law, Linda Cobb Williams.The family would like to thank Dr. Roy Fagan and his staff and special friends, Cheri and Darren Crabbe and their children, David and Aaron and Carolyn Hill.Donations in Mr. Freeman’s memory may be made to Reidsville Christian Church, 2020 South Park Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320; Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O.
