William Thomas "Crip" Joyce

Reidsville: Mr. William Thomas “Crip” Joyce, 85, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015, at home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 26th at 2:00 P.M. at Camp Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary Loftis officiating. Crip was born on September 30, 1929, in Rockingham County to the late William Henry and Dela Mozelle Shaffer Joyce. He retired from Kayser Roth after 40 years. He loved to raise food in his garden. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and made his own fishing lures. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters. Mr. Joyce is survived by his wife, Lona Mae Joyce; his brothers, Calvin Joyce and wife Ruby and Robert Joyce and wife Janet, and his sisters, Betty Lou Stalling and Orene Potter and husband R.C.
