William McGee London

Ruffin- William “ Billy” McGee London, 86, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Annie Penn Hospital A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sandy Brown officiating. The Rockingham County Honor Guard will provide military rites. Mr. London was born in Rockingham County to the late Callie and Zena Durham London. He was retired from Sears with 34 years of service and served in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Scott London. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in the by brothers, Stokes, Robert, Jack London ; sisters, Louise Fleming and Betty G. London and numerous nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 2:00 to 2:45 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
