William Swanson Medley

Reidsville- William Swanson Medley, Sr., 67, of 1063 New Lebanon Church Road, Reidsville, died on Friday, May 9, 2009 at NC Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Harris officiating. Mr. Medley was a native of Surry County. He was formerly employed with the Miller Canning Plant and was the owner and operator of Rockingham Cleaning Service. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Medley. He is survived by his son William Medley, Jr. of Mebane; his daughter, Janet Isom of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Tommy Isom and Hunter Isom of Archdale, NC; brothers, Floyd Medley of Lancaster, SC and Bobby Medley of El Paso, TX and his step-sister, Darlene of Maryland. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, May 11th from 7:00 -9:00 PM.
