Greensboro, NC - William N. "Tom" Festerman, Sr., 82, of Greensboro, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Beacon Place in Greensboro.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.Tom was born in Reidsville, NC to the late Solomon and Jessie Billingsley Festerman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elsie Vawter Festerman. He retired from AT&T, was the former president of T&J Security and a charter member of Freedom Baptist Church. Above all else he was he was very committed to his family, and had a special bond with his brother, James.Survivors include his children, Diane Warner and husband, Ronnie; Terri Woodle and husband, Harvey, all of Browns Summit, Toni Festerman of Greensboro, and William N. "Nat" Festerman, Jr. and wife, Vickie of Morehead City, NC; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brother, James Festerman and wife, Priscilla of Reidsville.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3rd from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Other times the family will be at the home of Diane Warner, 281 Running Creek Road, Browns Summit.
