William C. Patton

William “Bill” Patton, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Terry Larson officiating. William was born in Macon County to the late Claude and Hallie Collier Patton. He retired from Greensboro Country Club after 25 years of service. He lived a simple life; he loved golf, his grandchild and most of all his family. He will be greatly missed. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Rosalee Patton. Survivors include his daughter, Stacey Lynn Patton; sons, Geoffrey William Patton, David Alex Patton and wife Sheryl; grandson, William Cody Patton; brother, Douglas Patton and wife Sheryl; sister, Katherine Patton Dyer and husband Larry as well as a large extended family.
